Felicia and Chris both share a passion for making a difference and their teaching careers. It was this shared passion that first brought them together when they met at a new teacher orientation for PWCS in 2016. As fate would have it, they landed jobs at the same school, on the same 2nd-grade team. From this coincidence forward, they formed an instant friendship and started spending time hanging out together outside of school. It was during these moments they discovered how many more things they had in common. It wasn’t long (Spring 2017 to be exact!) that they officially started dating. With each passing year, they continue falling in love with each other all over again. Creating their very own fairytale in real life, they are excited to walk together hand in hand into their happily ever after! 

When we asked this adorable couple when they knew marriage was the next chapter in their love story, Felicia shared, “After adventuring together over the next few years we realized that life was simply better with each other in it. When we moved in together we spent time challenging and supporting each other. It was at this point that we saw how we would be constant in each other’s lives to love each other through the good, bad, and everything in between.”

In their free time, Chris and Felicia enjoy listening to live music and concerts, and exploring new breweries. They like to be in the kitchen cooking together or going out together for a bite to eat. You can also find them staying in on the weekends to watch football. One of their all-time favorite activities is adventuring and hiking with their furbaby, Riley!

Above everything else, Chris and Felicia value kindness and empathy, humor and laughter, and honesty and trust. Bonus value they share – family and togetherness!
