Natalie and Austin first met while they were attending WVU. Their paths first crossed while they were both living in the same apartment complex. Austin’s friends invited Natalie over to a party at his apartment, and that was the moment they officially met – when they were paired up as beer pong partners. It was clear from the beginning they made a great team! As the night went on, they bonded over their shared love for WVU sports, the outdoors, and Shania Twain! From this moment on, they knew they had found their teammate for life. 

When we asked Natalie and Austin when they knew marriage was the next step in their relationship, they each shared a special note about their relationship. 

Austin shared – “I knew Natalie was my lifelong partner through all our adventures together while we were dating and how well we complimented each other. I’ve always felt I can be my true self around her and she understands me and vice versa. When she left her hometown (Charleston, WV) and moved to Northern VA (my hometown) after college I knew our love was serious and endless possibilities existed for us.”

Natalie shared – “Austin and I complete each other. He brings out a side of me that may not have ever existed had I never met him. He helped me understand that it was okay to move out of my home state and experience something new. With that BIG decision to move from WV to VA, I knew I was all in. We have created a life beyond any expectation or dream that I ever had. Austin is my rock. We always have the best adventures and I can’t wait to see what our future has in store next.”

Together Natalie and Austin love winter sports! Austin is an avid snowboarder and Natalie is a skier. They try to escape to somewhere cold at least once per winter season. They also enjoy going to WVY football games, hanging out with their friends as often as they can, and hiking with their dog, Cooper. Another place they love going to is Deep Creek where they go boating, wakeboarding, and water skiing. 

Above everything else, Natalie and Austin value having the determination to work hard, compassion for others, and a great love for their friends and family.
