Rikki & Brian
A DC Wedding Videographers Look Into Their Love Story
About their Wedding

What Brought These Two Together
Rikki met Brian at the University of Maryland. They didn’t know it at the time but that first time meeting was to set the stage for a lifelong partnership! On a romantic day visiting Washington DC Brian got on a knee and pulled out a beautiful solitaire engagement ring. The love being together, their family and their …Â
I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Emily at Emily Alyssa Photography She did an amazing job with the engagement photos to the wedding day! It was a pleasure to work with her.Â
A Look At The Details
A wedding is not just about the actual day. The hours upon hours of preparation that go into the day should always be recognized. I appreciated all of the details that Rikki and Brian put into their wedding. I can tell that they were wanting all of their family and friends to have a great time!Â

Our Favorite Wedding Day Moments

Moments after Brian saw Rikki there was a irreplaceable smile across his face. I think if a tornado had swept through the winery during this moment he wouldn’t have been able to look away from his beautiful bride.Â
Throughout the day I noticed a theme. The involvement of family in their lives. It was from the start of the day and how much Rikki’s sisters helped her prepare, to them singing and performing at various parts of the wedding, then the funny, sentimental, and timeless ceremony put on by their uncle. So great to see family at the center of their relationship.Â

Again, I was very impressed by how much Rikki and Brian cared for their family and friends. While most couples spend time with their friends dancing the night away, these two spent time with their families making sure every guest got some intentional facetime. I appreciated this about them.Â
This picture was right before everyone headed out to the bar after the wedding. It was a challenge to get this photo because of how many people were talking out of the venue. It was a great and romantic way to end a very amazing day.Â

A Look At The Team Behind The Scenes
The Wedding Venue
District Winery was the perfect setting to see Rikki and Brian tie the knot. The day of coordinator did a great job and the catering team was on time. The food and service were great and that was evident with how happy all the guests were during the reception.
The Wedding Photography Team
Emily from Emily Alyssa Photography is in my top 10 favorite photographers I have ever worked with. She is very kind, responsive, and willing to go above and beyond in every circumstance! She took all the amazing pictures from this wedding. Not often do I spend time after a wedding talking to the photographer but Emily and I talked for at least 30 minutes after. She is awesome!Â
The Wedding Videography Team
Your’s truly. Paul and I were there to capture each moment of Rikki and Brian’s big day. It was a great time for us to be behind the scenes at their wedding. They were a fun couple to film. I wish every couple we have worked with is as easy to get along with as these two!Â
The Wedding Entertainment Team
DJ Biks from Exclusively Entertainment was professional from the first moment to the last. He played and mixed the tunes well and communicated with all the vendors behind the scenes to make Rikki and Brian’s wedding reception out of this world!Â

The Wedding Beauty Team
It goes without saying, Vic was stunning on her wedding day. Besides the fact that she is naturally beautiful, she had Allision Harper and Company doing her hair and makeup. The girls were easy to work with. They got all the girls done with time to spare!
The Wedding Floral Team
When you have a city wedding it is vital to bring some freshness in. That is exactly what Helen Olivia Floral Design did for Rikki & Brian . The arrangements were stunning from ceremony arbor to bouquets.Â
