For Rosa and Melvin it was an immediate connection and spark that they both felt immediately that brought them together. They first met 7 years ago over social media when they began exchanging messages. Ironically, they quickly discovered that they were attending the same high school with Melvin graduating a year earlier. As they spent more time hanging out and getting to know each other Rose and Melvin became best friends with their relationship being built on mutual respect and appreciating each other for being their true self. They feel blessed to have so many memories already together, and love that both of their families get along. As they journey through new moments and milestones together, their spark and connection only keeps growing every single day!

When we asked Rosa and Melvin when they knew marriage was the next chapter in their relationship, Rosa shared, “We decided to get married due to the deep connection we feel towards each other and willing to share each other’s lives as one, with the opportunity to adjust and support each other throughout this journey of life.”

In their free time, Rosa and Melvin love to travel and try out different restaurants and cuisines. They like to go on adventures together such as road trips, hiking, zip lining, paintball to name a few. Together they also love to spend a lot of time going over each other’s goals and future accomplishments. Most importantly they love to be there for their families through the good and the bad together. 

Three values Rosa and Melvin share together are their religion with Jesus and spiritually involving God in everything that they do, having love and compassion towards each other and people, and being humble, kind and generous to everyone especially to those in need of help.
