What brought you two together?

On the first date in 2017, Steven knew Dawn was the one. However, Dawn wasn’t so sure. So, what was ‘meant to be’ at that time, came to an end. But God had other plans. Fast forward to July 2019 an Instagram DM led to a second date, then another….and another. Finally, Dawn fell for Steven’s smile, southern charm, and charismatic personality.
So, we decided to begin our journey together and made plans for traveling and other adventures, but COVID slammed the door on that. Nevertheless, through the many months of quarantine, we were still able to have fun, create a bond, and strengthen our relationship in a way that may have been different if we hadn’t gone through that experience together.

After COVID restrictions eased we were finally able to travel as we planned and decided to set sail for Bermuda. Little did Dawn know, Steven had big plans brewing for the trip. While exploring the island, Steven waited for the perfect moment to surprise Dawn and propose. And of course, she said YES!!
Now here we are, on to the next phase of our journey together – our wedding day. We are excited to share this special day with family and friends.

Why did you decide to get married?

This decision came from a place of wholeness within us and the desires of our hearts to be committed to each other. We both had similar reflections on past relationships and felt as though we were finally connected with our forever love.
