What Brought These Two Together

The love story commenced during the teenage years of our lives, back in junior year of high school. Granted, the relationship was short-lived, we had no idea that was just the beginning. Nearly 10 years later, we re-kindled our spark during one of our closest friends’ (Eva & Max Vinson’s) wedding. We remained in contact throughout the years leading up to the wedding, always willing to offer each other advice, or excited to catch up with one another whenever our paths crossed. About a year before our friends’ wedding, we agreed to be each other’s plus one in the case we did not have one in the given time frame. Fortunately, fate was on our side leading up to this day, and we spent our night enjoying one another’s company, realizing that our spark never truly outed.

One year after making it official, we decided to spend our anniversary in Frederick, MD, exploring all the possibilities this town has to offer, and celebrating one long year of learning how to love someone that’s not ourselves.Fast-forward 3 years, Alex planned out a romantic dinner at the Rusty Scupper, in Baltimore, MD, overlooking the sights of the city. During dinner, we were able to reminisce on the years throughout our time together thus far, how we’ve grown as individuals, and as a couple. It was on this memorable evening that Alexander proposed to Jodi, and she said yes!

Shortly after getting engaged, we decided to dive into house hunting, and were able to make it through the closing process in purchasing our first home! Circling back to our one year anniversary, we purchased our first home in the town of Frederick, MD.

Here we are today, patiently awaiting the day we get to stand hand-in-hand as husband & wife, with all of our closest friends & family there to celebrate with us!
