Robin and Mike didn’t really know when exactly they met, however, they did know that they always knew of each other. They grew up in the same small town, in the same neighborhood, less than a mile apart. Robin was always out playing in the neighborhood while Mike was out practicing soccer. Funny thing is, they both loved soccer and played competitively, but they never played together. It wasn’t until high school that Robin ran into Mike in the hallway or at Weis Market once in a while. They didn’t interact until a few years later. Now, here comes the fun part.

Robin and her sister, Alison, were cooped up in the Hodgson household in the midst of Covid lockdowns. Robin and Ali decided to make silly snapchat videos and send them to Robin’s friends. Mind you, the girls were chanting songs that didn’t make sense and doing dances that were crazy, goofy. These videos were meant for the sister’s closest of friends and apparently Mike too?

Mike ended up accidentally receiving the goofy videos of Robin and Ali’s makeshift dance party…who would’ve known it would have led to the greatest relationship of their lives.

Robin and Mike chatted like they have known each other for ages. They just clicked. After chatting and getting to know each other better, Robin went to finally meet Mike. It seemed God had a plan and wanted the two together forever. So, God decided to make it snow 8-10 inches and keep Robin snowed in with Mike. The two knew this was something special from the start. They felt everything was so natural and couldn’t get enough of each other. Shortly after, they took their relationship to the next level, and became boyfriend and girlfriend. Sorry snapchat, but they made it to Facebook…It’s Facebook Official!! 😉

Robin and Mike were smitten. They traveled to multiple cities, hung out with friends and family, had many date nights, and even moved in together. Mike worked hard to advance his career while Robin was working towards earning her Bachelors of Science to become a Physical Education Teacher.

On May 26, 2022, Robin’s graduation day, Mike decided to propose to Robin in front of her family and college friends. This was Robin’s dream and Mike would do anything to make her dreams come true. Robin said YES and the two can not WAIT to get married. They hope to see you ALL on July 21, 2023 at Turf Valley Resort for a night of love, celebration, and fun. Without you all, they would not be where they are today and they hope to see you in July to celebrate their special day! <3
