Their wedding day was a heartfelt celebration of a love that began unexpectedly but felt destined. Meeting by chance in Dallas, they spent just three unforgettable days together, yet the connection they felt was immediate and profound. Surrounded by close family and friends, they exchanged vows that reflected their journey of faith, resilience, and unwavering devotion. One of the most touching moments was when they incorporated their shared faith into the ceremony, symbolizing the strong foundation of their relationship. The atmosphere was filled with joy and gratitude as they pledged their lives to one another. The guests could feel the depth of their bond, forged through distance and strengthened by their shared values. Our team at TLIC Photography and Videography was honored to capture the essence of their special day. We took care to document the genuine emotions and intimate moments that defined their wedding. By understanding their unique story, we focused on the details that mattered most to them—the affectionate glances, the heartfelt speeches, and the joyous celebrations. Our goal was to create a collection of memories that truly reflects their love and the journey they've undertaken together.
Their story began on July 15, 2021, in Dallas, Texas, when a chance meeting turned into something extraordinary. Tasked with showing Hanny and her siblings around the city, he felt an immediate connection with her—even before they spoke. Their first conversations felt timeless, and they quickly became inseparable during her brief three-day visit. Despite the geographical distance, they embarked on a six-month long-distance relationship, making multiple trips to see each other. Their love only grew stronger, leading him to move to Virginia to be closer to Hanny. Ten months later, he proposed at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C.—a location that perfectly symbolized their shared faith and values. Together, they enjoy cooking and trying new foods, hiking and enjoying the outdoors, reading books and engaging in deep conversations, worshipping together, and giving back through coaching their non-profit organization, Ethio Makarios. They deeply value their religion, family, and financial responsibility, building a life grounded in faith and mutual support.
Robert and Kelly’s connection started at a volunteer event and kept growing with rainy camping trips and noisy family dinners that always bring laughs. 😊🏡
