Reuniting in Northern Virginia, they continued to build their life together, with Stephanie starting her career at Johns Hopkins' Wilmer Eye Institute and Albert taking on a role at the Center for Naval Analysis, working on projects for FEMA. Their love only grew stronger, leading to a heartfelt proposal in Washington D.C. that marked the beginning of their lifelong commitment.
