Belmont Manor & Historic Park weddings

Belmont Manor & Historic Park is in Elkridge and is run by the Howard County Department of Recreation & Parks. The property has nearly 68 acres, the Belmont Manor House, formal gardens, a pond and an aqua garden.

A wedding day here usually moves through the grounds. You can get ready in the Manor House, have the ceremony at the Aqua Garden or Magnolia Grove, use the Bird Bath Garden for cocktail hour, and have dinner and dancing in the Reception Tent.

We have been back to Belmont Manor & Historic Park for four weddings, from Chris & Ann in January 2021 to Desiree & Robert in September 2024. Belmont Manor lists a 250 person maximum capacity.

What is the rain plan at Belmont Manor?

Ceremonies can be in the tent. Cocktail hour can be in the Manor or tent, based on guest count, and the reception is in the tent. If severe weather is close, Belmont staff work with vendors to move guests into the Manor until the threat has passed for at least 15 minutes.

Does Belmont Manor include all services?

It is not full service. Belmont Manor provides the location, and the renter contracts each service separately.
