Chanteclaire Farm weddings

Chanteclaire Farm is on the northern side of Deep Creek Lake in Friendsville, Maryland. It has 100 acres, a ceremony site with water and rolling hills, and dedicated spaces for cocktails, dinner, dancing, and the after-party.

The day can move in a clear line: vows at The Ceremony Site, cocktail hour in The Salon and at The Silo Bar, then dinner upstairs in The Dining Room and dancing on The Dance Floor. If it rains, the ceremony moves to the upper deck when dining tables are not set there, or to The Salon when they are.

Why we love a Chanteclaire wedding

At The Ceremony Site, water and 100 acres of rolling hills sit behind your vows.
Inside The Salon, cocktail hour gets a 5000 sq ft open room with ten separate living areas along the sides.
Over at The Silo Bar, the bar is made from 200 year old oak threshing floor wood.
For overnight plans, the farmhouse and cabin can sleep up to 20 people on site.

How the day runs at Chanteclaire Farm

Ceremonies happen at The Ceremony Site. Cocktail hour uses The Salon and The Silo Bar, then dinner moves upstairs to The Dining Room and dancing moves to The Dance Floor.

What guest count works at Chanteclaire Farm?

Chanteclaire says it can host up to 280 guests. They list 250 as the most comfortable fit.

Where does the ceremony go if it rains?

When the upper deck has no dining tables set, the ceremony can move there. If dining tables are already set, it moves to The Salon.

Is there overnight space on the property?

There is room for up to 20 people overnight in a 5 bedroom farmhouse and a 3 bedroom cabin.
