The day was set up for one wedding at a time. Ceremonies could be outside at places like the Pine Cathedral, Arboretum, pond, Stone Bridge, or Pavilion, with dinner and dancing in the Lodge. If it rained, the backup was the Pavilion near the Lodge or the Lodge fireplace.

No. Mountain Memories at ThorpeWood closed as of July 1, 2026. ThorpeWood, Inc. is not closing, but it will not host weddings.

Mountain Memories at ThorpeWood listed the Lodge for receptions up to 150 people.
If rain came in, where did ceremonies move?
The backup choices were the Pavilion near the Lodge or inside the Lodge in front of the fireplace. That call had to be made at least 4 hours before the ceremony.
